The yard is supposed to be picked up today.  The Parade of Homes starts this weekend and there are a few houses in Shadow Wood that are part of it - one is just 4 houses down.  Suppose we don't want to bring down the neighborhood. hehe Hopefully at least one trailer is moved out of there, too.  Sure will look different without trash and trailers in the front!

Carpet was supposed to be fininshed up but the living room carpet had a flaw in it and is being returned, reordered and hopefully laid in a week.  Rest of the house carpet is finished!  The weather has been gorgeous out so we haven't even been to the new house to see the carpet yet.  Plenty of time for that this weekend.  Electricians finished completely today I guess, well except for the Christmas lights outlet that was supposed to be in the sofits outside.  That accidently got covered over.  Ooops!

Finish work nearing completion!  All closet shelving installed, doorstops put on all doors, basement doors hung, other misc. finish work complete.  Plumbers came back and installed the dishwasher and a bigger water heater.  More cleaning (by Mom!) to try to contain the dust.

Electricians came back to finish a few things - lights on outside of house, lights up in master bath, etc.  Also, speaking of electricity, Brady and Dad put in the baseboard heat in the basement and Brady put in the smoke detectors.  We had our electrical inspection for the basement and passed (with 2 minor changes).  So, the family room downstairs is DONE.  Siding and sofits complete on the porch area.  We started really cleaning the place - getting rid of dust.  We moved over boxes and unpacked them where they go, too!

Front of garage siding finished and side of garage half done. 

Living room cleaned out - saw finally moved out of the house.  No more sawing inside!  Brady and I were at the house Thursday evening cleaning - vaccuuming and sweeping, and Brady finished the smoke detectors in the basement.

Baseboard all down.  Drew's basketball court and baseball wall are painted.  Need to add the details still (baseball threads and Twins logo and basketball backboard, lane, and 3-point line)  Handles installed on all cabinets.

Back entry/laundry room linoleum laid, closet shelving done in all but 3 closets, some clean up work done including initial sweeping and vacuuming, railing on basement stairway installed, living room carpet finally picked out, brick for front porch selected, extra lumber returned, garage somewhat cleaned out, new cabinet/countertop for laundry room/bathroom installed (obviously painting touchup and cabinet drawer alignment needed!)
