Windows Stained, Light Fixtures Hung, Bathroom Flooring done

February 28 - March 4, 2011

Master closet shelving is in, most doorknobs were installed and some finish pieces were put in place on the staircase.  Almost all the windows have been stained/varnished.  The electricians came back and installed almost all the rest of the light fixtures.  Guess we need to buy about 40+ 60 watt light bulbs now.  The master and upstairs bathroom linoleum was installed this week, too.  The laminate flooring has been delivered.  We're wanting to clean all the sawdust out of the house before any other flooring is installed and then no more sawing in the house!

Baseboard, railing, exterior doors, cabinet work, garage doors etc.

Feb 21-25, 2011

Railing work started, more work on the cabinets including crown moulding installed, baseboard installed on most rooms, window and door casing done.  Garage doors installed (may have been last week, but whatever!) 

Lights, cabinets, trim, etc.

Feb 14-18, 2011

Cabinets/countertops delivered.  Most cabinets/countertops installed.  Window and door trim worked on.  All doors installed by the end of the week.  Most window and door casings in place, too.  Basement walls done - tape, texture, white paint.  Stairs in garage into house done.

Feb 7-11, 2011

Electricians were back - installed the outlets and light switches, recessed lights and the chandelier.  Tape and texture work started on the basement.  Cabinets delivered.  More work on the siding.  Doors delivered.  Some doors installed.

I was viewing the pictures a bit out of order so this happened before the painting. 

HUGE thank you to Gary, Lonnie, Jason, Dad for their help during the "man party".  The entire basement family room is now sheetrocked. 

Painting

 Feb 5-8, 2011

Pretty much the entire house was painted by Brady, Jill, Mom, and Dad.  The tall foyer and staircase walls were painted by the hired guy who was much faster than we were but the same quality :) Thanks for all the painting help, mom and dad.  Drew's basketball court isn't painted on the walls of his new room yet, but other than that, the main floor and upstairs painting is DONE.
